Cecil Jane Ricks Walker (PICTURE) SUMNER Cecil Jane Ricks Walker, 85, of Sumner, Ga., died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 6, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gordon Poole officiating. Burial will follow in Wright's Chapel Cemetery with Anthony Tillman, John Walker, Alvin Walker, Jamie Blanchett, Guy Williams and Kevin Pierce serving as pallbearers. Born Aug. 2, 1927, in Wright's Chapel Community in Worth County, she was the daughter of H. T. Ricks and Devada Langdale Ricks. She was a certified nursing assistant at Brownwood Nursing Home. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Walker; and her sister, Velma Walker. Survivors include a son, Melvin Walker and wife Bonnie of Sumner, Ga.; a daughter, Diane Tillman and husband Jerry of Moultrie; grandchildren, Melissa Williams and husband Guy of Berrien County, John Walker of Sumner, Ga., Jennifer Blanchett and husband Jamie of Statesboro, Ga., Alvin Walker and wife Sallie of Doerun, Anthony Tillman of Moultrie and Allison Tillman Pierce and husband Kevin of Moultrie; great-grandchildren, Kourtni Williams, Phillip Williams, Ryan Williams, Emily Blanchett, Payton Blanchett and Cotton Walker; and step-great-grandchildren, Hunter Gay and Kaylee Gay.
