Cecil Laughton Weeks

Cecil Laughton Weeks, 86, of Moultrie, passed away November 16, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Morey officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Casketbearer are Kevin Johnson, Tony Johnson, Michael Conger and Brian Furney. Born February 27, 1930 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Edwin Laughton Weeks and Mattie Lou Davis Weeks. He was a retired farmer and of the Methodist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Myrine Callaway Weeks; four brothers, Alvin "Bill' Weeks, Talmadge Weeks, Chesley Howard Weeks and Donald Lewis Weeks; and one sister, Bobbie Nell Weeks Tillery. Survivors include his son, Ricky Weeks of Moultrie; daughters, Linda Weeks Conger and husband Jimmy, Glenda Weeks Howard and husband George and Phyllis Weeks, all of Moultrie; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
