Charles Jon-Phillip Harrod

Charles "Charlie" Jon-Phillip Harrod, 16, of Norman Park, passed away Tuesday September 27, 2016. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will follow in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be James Mercer, Nolan Howren, Clarke Hendrick, Matthew Taylor, Mitchell Taylor, Nick Smarr, Ryan Trevino, Max Casteel and Tristan Addi. Born April 29, 2000 in Tifton, he was the son of the Chuck Harrod and Jodie Johnson Harrod. He was a student at Colquitt Co. High School and was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid gamer and loved animals. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ronnie Phillips. Survivors include his father, Chuck Harrod of Norman Park; mother, Jodie Johnson Harrod of Moultrie; sisters, Rachel Harrod of Norman Park and Alex Hendrick and husband Clarke of Norman Park; grandparents, Stanley Harrod and Wife Becky of Norman Park and Linda Phillips of Rome; aunts and uncles, Ben and Traci Fuller of Moultrie, Shawn Johnson of Rome, Alex and Carla Vento of Macon, Greg and Michelle Phillips of Macon; cousins, Tori Fuller, Sallie Fuller, Meredith Fuller, Brooklyn Dillon, Catie Phillips and Amelia Vento. Visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 6pm-8pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Colquitt County Humane Society, 1412 1st St. N.E., Moultrie, Georgia 31768.
