Charlie C.B.' Bascom Jones NORMAN PARK Charlie C.B.' Bascom Jones, 77, of Norman Park, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, at Crosland Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Burial will follow in Leila Cemetery with J.C. Cox, Randy Cox, Jason Cox, Joey Cox, Jonathan Cox and John Paul Williams serving as pallbearers. Born Aug. 27, 1935, in Norman Park, he was the son of Eva Hamm Jones of Norman Park and the late Orvis Alvin Jones. He was a fieldman for Surburban Gas Company and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Elizabeth Cox Jones; and a son, Alan Scott Jones Sr. Survivors include his mother, Eva Hamm Jones of Norman Park; sons, Alvin Clyde Jones and wife Bonnie of Omega; grandchildren, Alan Scott Jones Jr., Brittany Rutland and Jeremy Wortham and Jessica Rutland; and great-grandchildren, Drake Jones, Praylee Jones and Olivia Wortham. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
