Charlie Lindsey Jr. (PICTURE) NORMAN PARK Charlie Lindsey Jr., 73, of Norman Park, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Daniel Wall, Charlie Lindsey IV, Deston Lindsey, Skylar Lindsey, Kohle Hargraves, Nick Sands, Ben Broomberg, Gage Kelley, Kevin Kirkland, Grant Martin and Bobby Griffin serving as pallbearers. The honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Baker,Ed Shiflet, Jack Lindsey, Mike Hampton and Mike Dinnerman. Born Feb. 16, 1940, in Norman Park, he was the son of the late Charlie Lindsey Sr. and Mary Norton Lindsey. He was a farmer and of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cherise Gray Lindsey; and a brother, James E. Lindsey. Survivors include his wife, Merle Gray Lindsey of Norman Park; sons, Charlie Lindsey,III and wife Rena of Norman Park and Keith Lindsey and wife Crystal of Norman Park; a daughter, Sandi Martin and husband Victor of Norman Park; a brother, William B. Lindsey and wife Maxine of Norman Park; grandchildren, Dwan Broomberg and husband Ben, Adrean Kelly and husband Gage, Daniel Wall and wife Whitney, Grant Martin and wife Lindsay, Leah Sands and husband Nick, Charlie Lindsey IV and wife Amanda, Summer Lindsey, Skylar Lindsey & Darby, Deston Lindsey and wife Brandi, and Kohle Hargraves and wife Courtney; great-grandchildren, Brey, Gannon, Hunter, Reed, Kaid, Karson, Kinsley, Van, Addison and Jacob.
