Christopher Lee Innes, 39, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, at his home.

In accordance with his wishes, Lee will be cremated, and a memorial service to honor his life will be held at a later date.

Born on July 30, 1985, in Tifton, Georgia, he was the son of Susan Carol Calhoun Mathis and the late Robert John Innes. His children were the center of his world and his greatest source of joy. Known for his upbeat spirit, Lee was always in a great mood and found the best in life, bringing positivity to everyone around him. He had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a hand to others. He was deeply passionate about his work and spent 21 fulfilling years as a lineman with UTEC, a career he held with great pride. He later worked in the maintenance department for Destiny Industries, where he continued to dedicate himself to his work. He was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his mother, Susan Carol Mathis, he is survived by his wife, Diane Weeks Innes of Moultrie; children, Dallas Innes Weston Innes, Maysee Jo Innes, all of Ocala, FL, Skyler Hasty, Zachary Hasty, both of Moultrie, Ashton Hasty, and Hayden Hasty, both of Norman Park; granddaughter, Gabriella Sky Butt; sister, Kasee Glover and husband Quincy of Ocala; special friends, Emily Jo of Ocala and Joyce Lawson, of Moultrie; mother and father in law, Joy and Doyce Weeks of Norman Park; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will gather at the home of Diane and Lee Innes.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Baker Funeral Home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
