Clara Mae McMillan Lindsey MOULTRIE Clara Mae McMillan Lindsey, 95, of Moultrie, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at Unihealth Magnolia Manor South in Moultrie. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Buck Creek Cemetery. the Rev. Danny Moree will officiate and her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Lindsey was born Nov. 23, 1918, to the late Clarence McMillan and Bessie Mae Simmons McMillan. She was a member of Buck Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Sims Lindsey; a brother, John McMillan; and two sisters, Sidney Vann McGough and Louise West Stump. Survivors include two sons, Jack Lindsey and wife Brenda of Norman Park and Jerry Lindsey and wife Regina of Sylvester; grandchilden, Chris Lindsey and wife Rachel of Norman Park, Andy Lindsey and wife Denise of Americus, Ga., Joe Lindsey and wife Marie of Norman Park; John P. Lindsey and wife Judy of Sylvester, and Becky Halstead and husband Sid of Blackshear, Ga.; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 3-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
