Clarence Oran West (VETERAN) BERLIN Clarence Oran West, 68, of Berlin, died Sunday, May 5, 2014, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 12, at New Life Tabernacle, with the Rev. Murray Barfield officiating. Born Sept. 22, 1945, in Orlando, Fla., he was the son of the late James Clinton West and Annie Kindell West. He was a sales manager at Adams Const. Equipment and a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Ann Meeks West; and a brother Edward West. Survivors include a son, Matthew Clayton West and wife Jennifer of Berlin; a sister, Barbara Dobbs of Orlando, Fla.; and grandchildren, Shelby Elizabeth West, Sidni Lydia West and Clinton Oran West.
