Clifford Wayne Nash

Clifford Wayne Nash, age 65 of Moultrie, died Wednesday July 17, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday July 20, 2019 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Robert McCoy officiating. Pallbearers are Charles Moore, Donald Bennett, Bert Knight, Cliff Jones, Ben Nash and Tom Clifford. Burial will be in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Born September 11, 1953 in Memphis TN, Mr. Nash was the son of the late Robert Nash and Betty June Nash. He was the owner of Nash Insurance services and of the Christian Faith. He graduated from Newnan High School, attended ABAC and graduated from UGA with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son Matthew Ryan Nash.
He is survived by his wife, Laverne Bennett Nash of Moultrie; sons, Sam Nash of Athens, Bobby Cooper and wife Kristy, Timmy Cooper and wife Wendy of Moultrie; daughter Anna K. Nash of Charlotte, NC; brother, Charles Nash and wife Lexie of Chicago; sister, Cynthia Douglas and husband Steve of The Rock, GA; grandchildren, Lawton Nash, Chap Nash, Julia Goodin and husband Taff, Daniel Cooper, Lance Cooper, Ivey Cooper, Will Roberts and Anna Roberts; great grandchild, Heath Charles Goodin.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Colquitt County Hospice, The American Cancer Society or The American Heat Association.
Visitation will be held from 6:00- 8:00 pm Friday July 19, 2019 at Baker Funeral Home.
