Clinton Lamar Carter (photo) MOULTRIE - Clinton Lamar Carter, 82, of Moultrie, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Autreyville Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Born Jan. 28, 1933, he was the son of Francis Orus Carter and Voncile Hortman Carter. He was the owner of Carter greenhouse Nursery and a member of Autreyville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Causey Carter; and a brother, Milton Carter. Survivors include his sons, Lyonel F. Carter and wife Joyce of Moultrie, and Lonnie A. Carter and wife Mikki of Tifton; daughter, Pamella C. Simpson and husband Dan of Barrow, AK.; brother, Ronald Carter and wife Loyce of Summerville, Ga.; sisters, Barbara Bronson of Berlin, and Betina Beam of Summerville, Ga.; sister-in-law, Shirley Carter of Moultrie; grandchildren, Laura E. Crook, Clint M. Carter, Karradyne Carter, Belle Carter, Dakota Likes, Timothy Aiken, James Aiken, Harry Aiken, and John Ahkivgak; and great-grandchildren, Ana Leah Rexford, Serenity Aiken, Nayauq Aiken, Perry Aiken, Elijah Aiken, John Ahkivgak, Jr., Jeroney Ahkivgak, Leona Ahkivgak, Jack Ahkivgak, and Natalie Claire Crook. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home. The family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
