Clinton George Perry (VETERAN) MOULTRIE Clinton George Perry, 65, of Moultrie, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Agape Health and Rehab. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardenswith the Rev. Andy Cashwell and Butch Rabenstein officiating. Tanner Vereen, Alan Brightwell, Dalton McGee, Michael Weeks, Wes Robison and Craig Baker will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennard Robison, Dicky Traylor, Joe Linder, Gene King, Bill Bradley, Don Webb, Johnny Lipsey and Earl Higgs. Born Aug. 11, 1947, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Otis Earman Perry and Mary Amanda West Perry. He was the Colquitt County Landfill superintendent and a veteran of the United States Army Reserve. He was of the Baptist faith. "He loved his family, the Ecofina River, and working on projects in his shop," his family remembered of him. He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Goodman. Survivors include his wife, Patti Wilhoit Perry of Moultrie; sons, Carlton Perry and wife Angie of Norman Park, Scott Vereen and wife Tiffany of Moultrie and Hunter Vereen and wife Nicole of Atlanta; daughter, Heather Vereen of Atlanta; brother, Wayne Perry and wife Audrey of Moultrie; sister, Helen Emons of California; and grandchildren, Tanner Vereen, Hannah Vereen, Cameron Vereen and Logan Vereen, all of Moultrie, Declan Vereen and Chase Vereen of Atlanta, and Jaycee Perry, Juliana Perry and Jayna Perry of Norman Park.
