Cornelia Tillman Kent

Cornelia Tillman Kent,77, of Moultrie, passed away at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida on Friday, November 22, 2024. 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Hopewell Church Cemetery with Reverend Josh Purvis officiating. 

Born on September 26, 1948, in Moultrie, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Jonah Lee Tillman, Jr. and Doris Elizabeth Stripling Tillman. Ms. Kent retired from Riverside Manufacturing as a clerk and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mark Dale Tillman and Lynn Tillman; sister, Amelia Tillman; and special friend, Elizabeth Bynum.

Ms. Kent is survived by her nephew, Derrick Tillman and wife Julie of Moultrie; nieces, Jenna Tillman and friend Misty of Ray City and Abby Tillman of Moultrie; and sister-in-law, Martha Tillman of Moultrie. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
