Dale Alvin Holt

Dale Alvin Holt, 56, of Moultrie, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at Baker Funeral Home with private burial in Weeks Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Randy Radford will officiate, and pall bearers will be Carl Powell, Benny Norman, Ericson Holt, Stephen Holt, Don Hancock, Tim Hancock and Todd Hancock. Mr. Holt was born Oct. 29, 1955, in Richmond, Va., to Anne Haw Holt-Webb, Ph.D., of Montecello, Fla., and the late Carl Eugene Jarvis. He was a Christian and a self-employed contractor. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Jean Hancock Holt of Moultrie; daughters, Courtney Nichole Holt Norman and husband Benny Norman Jr. of Norman Park, Amanda Holt Webb of Moultrie and Kelli Holt Powell and husband Carl of Moultrie; brothers, Stephen Holt of Monticello, Fla., and Ericson Holt and wife Kristi of Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Jamie Holt Sherfy and husband Mark of Columbus, Ga.; and grandchildren, Morgan Holt, Brooke Bennett, Hanna Norman, Sierra Norman, Jenna Norman, Dawson Lane, Trent Holt and Bailey Powell.
