Daniel Cone Barrett

Daniel Cone Barrett, 74, of Norman Park, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Folsom and Rev. Ike Jefferson officiating. David Brock, K.J. Barrett, Clinton Folsom, Charles Sloan, Luke Folsom, and Dusty Barrett will serve as pallbearers. Will Smith will serve as honorary pallbearer. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Church Cemetery.
Born on August 1, 1949, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of the late Rosco Harrison Barrett and Lena May Cone Barrett. He was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Eugene Barrett, William Barrett, Robert Barrett, and Ronald Barrett; and sisters, Mary Madalene Barrett, Rose Campton, Hazel Radford, and Doris Hancock.
Mr. Barrett is survived by his sisters, Helen Knowels of Moultrie, and Ellen West of Cordele; special niece Lisa Folsom of Norman Park; special nephew, Alan Keith Barrett, Sr. and wife Denice of Adel; and many numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
