Daniel Lanier Miller Sr. SATSUMA, Fla. Daniel Lanier Miller Sr., 71, of Satsuma, Fla., died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, Fla. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wes Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery with Wesley Miller, Mack Wiard, John Vickers, James Robison, Charles Hodges and James Sutton serving as pallbearers. Born Sept. 11, 1940, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Archie Miller and Mildred McDaniel Miller May and husband Ellis. He was a floor mechanic for Ed Edmonds Company and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Palatka, Fla. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Tillman Miller. Survivors include special friend, Sherry Graves of Palatka, Fla.; sons, Archie Miller and fiancée Connie of Albany, Ga., and Daniel Miller Jr. and wife Kimberly of Leesburg, Ga.; sisters, Virginia Wiard and husband Lanier of Moultrie and Eula Vickers and husband Lee of Moultrie; and grandchildren, Ivy Miller of Albany, Ga., Wesley Miller of Leesburg, Ga., and Holly Miller of Acworth, Ga. Visitation will be today, Aug. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. The family maybe contacted at the home of Virginia and Lanier Wiard, 331 Alton Road in Moultrie.
