David "Kenny" Edward Pope

David "Kenny" Edward Pope, 70 of Moultrie, died Wednesday May 15, 2019 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 3:00pm Monday May 20, 2019 at Lifespring Community Church with Rev. Julian Griner and Richard Edwards officiating. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Caleb Cobb, Trace Aikens, Dennis Pope, Jr., Truett Starkey, Todd Moser and Steve Strickland will serve as pallbearers.
Kenny was born November 30, 1948 in San Jose, California to the late Olan Jay Pope and Lou Loya Pope. He was a retired car salesman and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Pope and a sister, Cindy Pope Lott.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Linda Truett Pope of Moultrie; daughters, April Pope Smith and husband Buford of Morven and Melissa Pope Clifton and Derek Hiers of Pavo; sister, Kathy Pope Moser and husband Lynn of Moultrie; brother-in-law, Ronald Lott of Hartsfield; grandchildren, Ryan Clifton, Heaven Clifton, Logan Smith, Galon Smith, Jaxon Smith, Ella Grace Hiers and many special nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
