David Ricks

David Glenn Ricks, 83, of Norman Park, died Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2020 at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating.
Born on January 5 1937, in Anderson City, Georgia, he was the son of the late Joseph Franklin Ricks and Bertie Lee Saunders Ricks. He retired from Procter and Gamble, was a veteran in the United States Navy, and was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lillian Hunnicutt Ricks; son, Tim Ricks; granddaughter, Jessica Ricks; brother, Brack Ricks and Jack Ricks; and sisters, Merle Sellers and Jewell Corley.
Mr. Ricks is survived by his son, Greg Ricks and wife Lynn of Norman Park; daughter, Melissa Johnson and husband Kyle of Norman Park; grandchildren, Ashley Mcleod, Kimberly Ricks, Danielle Gailey, Kylie Johnson, and Parker Johnson; great grandchildren, Hayden Suggs, Jayce Clark, Ashlyn Mcleod, Chayton Harrell, and Ava Grace Frailey; and daughter in law, Judy Ricks Hay and husband James of Norman Park.
