Deborah Susan Lewis Carter MOULTRIE - Deborah Susan Lewis Carter, 55, of Adel , GA died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Carter was born in Sylvester , GA to Jeanette Suggs Lewis of Poulan and the late William "Knot" Lewis and was employed with Professional Pros. of Atlanta and was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be 3pm Sat April 12, 2014 at Baker Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Poulan City Cemetery. Rev. Grady Moree will officiate. Casketbearers will be Kenny Giddens, Eddie Giddens, Will Giddens, Tracy McCook, Jimmy Green, Ronnie Burger, Jerry Purvis, Rodney Higgs. Mrs. Carter was survived by her mother, Jeanette Suggs Lewis of Poulan, spouse, John Asberry Carter of Adel, GA., sons, Joseph Banda of Poulan, step son, John Carter & wife Cindy of Ray City, daughter, Stephanie Fincher & husband James of Sylvester, brothers, William "Jr" Lewis & wife Donna of Poulan, Billy Lewis, Wayne Lewis of Poulan, sister, Ruby Jones & husband Willie of Poulan, grandchildren, Cody Fincher, Donavon Finsher, Nathan Finsher, Jonathon Carter, Lily Carter, John Carter, Jr., Christian James Carter. She was preceded in death by her father, William "Knot" Lewis, brother, Robert Lewis, sisters, Kathy Carter and Abigail Brown. Visitation will be from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home today.
