Dee Allen Bickel

Norman Park, Georgia- Dee Allen Bickel, 75, of Norman Park, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Friendship Alliance Church with Rev. John Eubanks and Rev. Steve Scarrow officiating. The family will gather after the service for a time of fellowship. Born on June 24, 1942, in Marion, he was the son of the late Patrick Rosco Bickel and Virginia Murphy Bickel. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was retired from General Motors.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Julie Owen; brothers, Danny Bickel, Gene Murphy, and Patrick Bickel; and sister in law, Joann Bickel.He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Rice Bickel of Norman Park; sons, Timothy  Bickel and wife Christa of Carmel, Indiana, Jeffery Bickel of Lubbock, Texas; daughters, Danette Hall and husband Jimmy of Lawton, Oklahoma, Shannon Bickel of South Carolina, and Tammy Bickel of Orlando, Florida; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Terry Bickel and wife Maryland of Boca Roton, Florida; brother in law, Delbert Rice and Ann Downam of Jonesboro; and sister in law, Pam Bickel of Atlanta.
