Deloris Carter

Deloris "Porky" Anzo Miller Carter, 74, of Hartsfield, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Oakridge Cemetery in Tifton, Georgia with Rev. Corey Shiver officiating.

Born on November 20, 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late David Lee Miller and Jessie Lee Cumbee Miller. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ollin Carter, Sr.; and a grandson, Kyle Carter.

Mrs. Carter is survived by her son, Rocky Carter and wife Brenda of Tifton; daughters, Kathy Hinson and Danny White of Moultrie, and Peggy Bachelor and husband Gary of Hartsfield; sister, Gwendolyn Bond of Summerville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Michael Carter of Tifton, Bruce Hinson of Crosland, Jessica Hayes and husband Michael of Crosland, and Dalton Bachelor of Hartsfield; great granddaughter, Melanie Stephens of Crosland; special pet, Snuggles. She was known as "Nanny" to many.

Friends and family are welcome to visit on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 4:00 until and on Sunday, December 27, 2020 after the service at the home of Gary and Peggy Bachelor 1806 Faison Road Hartsfield, Ga 31756.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM-1:15PM prior to the service on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Baker Funeral Home.
