Dewey McGee

Dewey Eugene McGee, 76, of Norman Park, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. Graveside rites with Military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Week's Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Charles Walker officiating. The family will receive family and friends at the conclusion of service. Born on November 12, 1941 in Colquitt Co., Georgia, he was the son of the late Willie Woodroe McGee and Myrtle Lee Tillman McGee Bailey. He was a truckdriver and was a member of Week's Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Geraldine McGee Hiers; and nephew, William Thomas Hiers. Survivors include his sons, Ricky McGee of Virginia Beach, VA and Patrick McGee of Kennesaw, GA; grandson, Ryan Layne McGee of Kennesaw; granddaughter, Sophia Georgia McGee of Virginia Beach; sisters, Faye Harrod and husband Franklin of Norman Park, and Barbara Jean Crosby of Sparks.
