Donald Jack Dalton MOULTRIE Donald Jack Dalton, 67, of Moultrie, died Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Sellers officiating, assisted by the Rev. John Bell. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with David Dalton Jr., Dustin Dalton, Daniel Dalton, Jerry Tillman, Lee Norman and Lynwood Dalton serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Norman, Eddie Hall, Charlie Armstrong, Sonny Pellum, Wayne Tillman, Jerry Baker, Lavon Stripling, Doyle Key and Harry Brumbley. Born Aug. 2, 1946, in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Floyd Ladell Dalton and Geneva Tillman Dalton. He was a retired farmer and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by infant twins, Jason Slade Dalton and Dawna Lynn Dalton; and a sister, Daphne Duvall. Survivors include his wife, Linda Gail Dalton of Moultrie; son, James Shannon Paramore of Moultrie; daughters, Hope Dalton Dorsey and husband Chris of Fayetteville, N.C., and Donna Dalton Johnson and husband Andy of Brunswick, Ga.; a brother, David Dalton and wife Marty of Moultrie; a sister, Sandra Bishop and husband Marvin of Moultrie; grandchild, Katelyn Brooke DeMott of Moultrie; and a great-grandchild, Lyla Danielle "Beebop" DeMott-Skeen of Moultrie. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., on Saturday, at the funeral home. The family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
