Donald Dean Wooten Sr. NORMAN PARK Donald Dean Wooten Sr., 85, of Norman Park, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating. Born Dec. 17, 1928, in Kimmell, Ind., he was the son of William Orvil Wooten and Sally Ann Bolling Wooten. He was chief security officer with Brunswick Marina and he was a W.W.II United States Army veteran. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and a Life Member of the DAV and VFW. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Ellen Wooten; an infant son, Donald Dean Wooten Jr.; and brothers, Bernard Eugene Wooten and Robert LeeWooten. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Emmett Crosson Wooten of Norman Park; daughters, Karen Wooten Butler and husband Ron of Indiana, Darlene Wooten Treat and husband Steve of Indiana, Pamela Wooten Slabaugh and husband Melvin of Florida and Patricia Wooten Sunkel and husband Daniel of North Carolina; half-sister, Lorraine Arbuckle and husband Jim of Indiana; step-daughters, Marie NeSmith, Helen McPhail, Nancy Manley and Carolyn Hurm; step-son, Richard "Dick" Crosson; grandchildren, Todd Scelzo, Steven Treat, Donald "D.J." Slabaugh and wife Carla Thomas Walker, Rhonda Scelzo Wenger and husband Jeff, Amy Treat Dickson and husband Justin, Kelly Anderson Angle and husband Robert Angle Jr., Schannah Slabaugh Powell and husband Mark and Barbara Walker; and 15 great-grandchildren.
