NORMAN PARK - Donnie "Clyde" Roberts, 67, of Norman Park, died Friday, July 10, 2015, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, July 12, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles and the Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Patrick Canady, Timmy McFarland, Casey Taylor, Randy Taylor, Tyler Edwards, Stuart Willis, Jamie Willis, and Jonathan Willis; honorary casketbearers Joel Griffin, Nick Malone, Ricky Wright, Mike Hampton, Charlie Gene Powell, Earl Bishop, Jody Cromwell, Chad Godwin, James Willis, Kyle Hobbs, Wendell Hobby, Glenn Smith, Harold Hobby, Gary Hall, Greg Hall, and Danny Hall. Born on March 6, 1948, in Moultrie, he was a son of the late Junior Roberts and Frances Hall Roberts. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and was self employed in construction. Mr. Roberts was preceeded in death by his father in law, A.J. Willis. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Ann Willis Roberts, of Norman Park, Ga.; two daughters, Shelley Roberts, and Kristi Roberts, of Norman Park, Ga.; one brother, David Roberts and wife, Wanda, of Albany, Ga.; two sisters, Janice McFarland, of Moultrie, Ga., and Kathy Hobbs and husband, Kyle, of Norman Park, Ga.; mother-in-law, Mary Willis, of Omega, Ga.; brother-in-law James Willis and wife, Pam, of Watkinsville, Ga.; sister-in-law, Paula Edwards, of Tifton, Ga.; special niece, Danielle Roberts Hardin; great-nephew, Parker Hardin; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins .
