Doris Graves Johnson Waters Services for Doris Graves Johnson Waters, 85, Moultrie, are at 3 p.m., Sunday May 31, 2015, at Ione Freewill Baptist Church, 1642 Ione Church Rd., Pavo. The Revs. Teron Stonecypher and Buford Groves will officiate and interment is in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tylar Clark, Mike Gant, Eric Tucker, Joe Welch, James Graves and Stan Gailey. Mrs. Waters died Thursday, May 28, at UniHealth Post Acute Care. Born July 16, 1929, in Ochlocknee, she was the daughter of the late Dudley George Graves Sr. and Annie Blanche Hicks Graves. Of the Baptist faith, she worked in sales at Fair Store, Friedlander's Department Store and Coca Cola Bottling Co. She was married to the late Ernest Johnson and Lester Waters. She loved her family, friends, plants and God. She was a great cook. Survivors include son, Bill Johnson and wife Brenda of Pavo; daughters, Becky Johnson Tucker and husband Jerry of Moultrie; grandchildren Eric Tucker and wife Sarah of Irwinville, Laura Tucker Bibeault and husband Scott of Moultrie, Amy Gant and husband Mike of Dade City, Florida, Christy Gailey and husband Stan, Ashley Johnson and fiancée Joe Welch of Pavo; great-randchildren, Tylar Clark, Jaylin and Breanna Gant, Jacob and Jolie Bibeault, Morgan Broadway, Thomas Welch, Jordan and Kasey Gailey; great-great-grandchild, Reagan Broadway. She was preceded in death by brothers, D. G. Graves, Ray Graves; and sisters Agnes Davis, Lillian Thornton, Hazel Bales and Myrtis Martin.
