Dorothy Hartsfield Albright

OMEGA - Dorothy Hartsfield Collins Albright, 85, of Omega, died Monday, April 4, 2016, at her residence. Services will be Thursday, April 7, at 11 a.m. at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Sloan officiating. Interment will follow at Paulks Chapel. Casketbearers will be Casey Braswell, Jeff Hartsfield, Stacy Collins, Shannon Evans, Scott Evans, and Heath Braswell. Born on June 5, 1930, in Scooterville, she was the daughter of the late J.T. Hartsfield and Clyde Saunders Hartsfield. She retired from Riverside MFG. and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband, W.A. Collins; and a grandchild, Sherrie Evans; brothers, J.W. Hartsfield, Gene Hartsfield, and Floyd Hartsfield; a sister, Annette Hamn; and one son-in-law, William Larry Evans. Survivors include her husband, Richard Albright of Omega; sons, Roger Collins of Norman Park, Jeff Albright of Colorado, and Chris Albright of North Carolina; daughters, Ann Evans of Ty Ty, and Pee Wee Braswell and husband William of Moultrie; brother, Junior Hartsfield and wife Mary of Sumner; sisters Ruby Parker of Poulan, Margie Justice of Norman Park, La Rue Perkins and husband David of Moultrie, Mary Brown and husband Gary of Doerun, and Linda Littleton of Albany; grandchildren, Stacy Collins and wife Christie, Scott Evans, Shannon Evans and wife Sierra, Heath Braswell and wife Allison, and Casey Braswell; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-greatgrandchildren; sisters-in-law, Martha Morrell of Omega, and Lillie Mae Hartsfield of Omega; and a brother-in-law, Donald Hamn of Norman Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Baker Funeral Home. Baker Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
