Dorothy Mitchell Graves (photo) MOULTRIE Dorothy Mitchell Graves, 81, of Moultrie, died Saturday, May 23, 2015, at her residence. A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 25, at Pineview Church Cemetery. Mrs. Graves was born Sept. 27, 1933, in Colquitt County to Henry Mitchell and Myrtle Asbell Mitchell. She was co-owner of Graves Wholesale Company and was a member of Pineview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley G. "Red" Graves Jr., and a sister, Betty Lamb. Survivors include one son, James Douglas Graves and wife Allana of Moultrie; three daughters, Diane Graves Parten and husband Michael, Sharron Graves Hurst and husband Arthur, and Lisa Graves Plant and husband Robert, all of Moultrie; two sisters, Hazel Mallard of Moultrie and Charlotte Martin of Moultrie; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
