Dorothy Jones

Dorothy F. Jones,76, of Tifton, passed away, Monday, August 30, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Leila United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Voyles and Rev. Steve Gilbert officiating. Mike Bennett, Chad Jenkins, Julian Bennett, Mickey Jacob, Josh Jones, Ray Moorman, and Randall Tillery will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery in Tifton.
Mrs. Jones was born on May 11, 1945, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy “Dot” McFarland Weeks. She was a pork producer at Jones and Moorman’s Hog Farm and was a member of Leila United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Thomas “Tommy” H. Jones Jr. of Tifton; sons, Frankie Hall and wife Jessica of Norman Park, Rodger Hall and wife Jenny of Norman Park, and Tom Jones and wife Mindy of Merritt Island, Florida; daughter, Monica Dotson of Tifton; grandchildren, Gracie Hall, Nicole Jones Brittany Horne, Andrue Jones, Eli Jones, Ani Jones, Christian Dotson, and Alyssa Dotson (Roo); great-grandchildren, Lakyn Lanier, Walker Lanier, Cayson Jones, and Perry Suber; sisters, Sherry Weeks of Moultrie, and Gloria Dale Jenkins of Ellenton; and special friend Gale Brown.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
