Dorothy Jean McCracken Roberts

Dorothy Jean McCracken Roberts, 88, of Warner Robins, formerly of Berlin, died Saturday, July 7, 2018 in Warner Robins.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Justice officiating. A private family interment will follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 2pm-3pm at Baker Funeral Home.
Born on September 1, 1929, in Miami, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Albert Luther McCracken and Annie Ruth McDaniel McCracken. She was a retired school teacher who served the Colquitt County School System for 37 years. She was also a member of the Colquitt Co. Retired Educator Association, volunteered at Colquitt Regional Medical Center, and was a part of the Naomi Chapter #139 OES. She was also a member of Barney Friendship Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Overstreet Roberts, Sr.; and son, Daniel Albert Roberts.
Survivors include her son, Ronald Overstreet Roberts, Jr. and wife Linda of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Traci Roberts Shipp and husband Joey of Warner Robins; great grandchildren, Josiah Bennett Shipp and Lydia Bivin Shipp, both of Warner Robins; sisters, LaRue Hooks and husband Floyd of Thomasville, and Jackie Hatcher of Albany; niece, Missy Hatcher; and nephew, Mike Hooks.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
