Dorothy Maxine Moore

Dorothy Maxine Moore, 87, of Moultrie, died Sunday July 23, 2017 at Lakehaven Nursing home in Valdosta. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 26, 2017, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Chaplain Roger May officiating. Interment will follow in Doerun City Cemetery. She was born on August 9, 1929 in Ashburn, Georgia to the late Joseph Ben Moore and Lucilee Clower Moore. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Survivors include her sister, Wylene Mates of Milledgeville and several nieces and great nieces and nephews.
