Dorothy Patterson Norman, 84, of Gray, GA, died Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Autumn Lane Health and Rehab in Gray, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 27, 2021 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck House officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Ricky Norman, Brett Norman, Michael Cleghorn, Clint Jackson, Tommy New, and Jeff Woodcock will serve as pallbearers.
Born on July 21, 1936, in Cartersville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence A. Patterson and Daisy Lee Jenkins Patterson. Ms. Norman was a seamstress and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin L. Norman; children, Russell L. Norman, Sue McMillan, Ricky T. Norman, and Robin L. Norman; brothers, Bill Patterson, and Walter Patterson; and sister, Joann New.
Ms. Norman is survived by her son, Rex L. Norman and wife Merrilee of Cumming; daughter, Michelle Norman and Kimmey Lott of Gray; grandchildren, Stefanie Harness, Elijah Ammons, Michael Cleghorn, Jessica Roberts, Brett Norman, Ricky Norman, Cody Sledge, Elaine Mitchell, Tanya Jackson, and Beth Greene; 13 great grandchildren, and sisters; Shirley Bramlett and husband Sherman of Griffin, Helen Crews of Jonesboro, and Fay Gay of McDonough.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
