Dorothy Lee Strawder Wright, 84 of Moultrie, died Friday December 27, 2019, at her residence.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday December 30, 2019 at China Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Mays and Rev. Gary Conger officiating. Interment will follow in China Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
Mrs. Wright was born April 27, 1935 in Moultrie to the late Abbie Preston Strawder and Minnie Lee Ward Strawder. She was a self-employed business woman in property management, retail, a professional cook and seamstress and a member of China Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter, Doris Jean Wright; sisters, Katherine Strawder Tillman Hand, Juanita Strawder Sasser and Mary Francis Strawder; brothers, Thomas Edward Strawder, Eugene Preston Strawder.
Survivors are her husband, Douglas Wesley "D W" Wright of Moultrie; sons, Douglas Wayne Wright, David Wesley Wright and wife Melinda Ann, Dustin Waylon Wright; daughter, Mary Dianne Wright ; daughter-in-law, Hedi Baguio Wright all of Moultrie; sisters, Geraldine Strawder Conger of Baxley, Evelyn Virginia Strawder Brightwell of Valdosta; grandchildren, Danielle Leigh Price Carver and husband Adam Christianson, Donavon Wesley Wright and wife Magen Elizabeth, Kristy LeAnn Wright, Devin Wayne Wright and wife Cheltsie Lynne, Magen Denise Wright Ebbers and husband Jordan, Nola Grace Wright, Aaron Preston Wright; great grandchildren, Kylie Grace, Ava Brooke, Kaylie Faith, Everli Mae, Aiden Blake, Kolton Wesley, Auri Elizabeth, Xander Williams, Anduin Ether, Skyler Wayne, Amarie Estel.
