Thea Elizabeth Doshia Odom McRae Alday COOLIDGE Thea Elizabeth Doshia Odom McRae Alday, 97, of Coolidge, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Ga. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Ione Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Terron Stonecypher officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery, Pavo GA. Born Aug. 18, 1916, in Seminole County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Elijah Odom and Louise Alday Odom. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. She was preceded in death by her first husband Phillip Greene McRae and second husband Reuben Alday; a daughter, Annie Lou McRae Childers; brothers, Nathan Odom and Walter Junior Odom; and sisters, Thelma Sapp and Alice King. Survivors include a brother, Jimmy Odom and wife Brenda of Thomasville, Ga.; sisters, Winona Lamons of Dixie , Ga., and Pearlie Mae Barr and husband Gene of Thomasville, Ga.; grandchildren, George Phillip Childers of Pavo and Kenneth Childers and wife Jane of Pavo; 12 great-grandchildren, Sue Ann Childers, Kathy Childers, George Childers, Bridget Childers, Emily Childers, Denny Swymer and Rodney Swymer, all of Pavo, April Nesmith and Brandon Childers, both of Moultrie and Spencer Childers, RT Milam Jr. and Ira L. Nesmith Jr., all of Pavo; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Libby Bodiford of Coolidge. Visitation will be today, Jan. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
