Douglas Blane Fowler (PICTURE) PAVO Douglas Blane Fowler, 53, of Pavo, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Friday, Aug. 17, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stuart Bundy and Rev. James "Shot" Sellers officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Chip Carroll, Tracey Luther, Glenn Fowler, William Boyd, Ike Davis and Terry Benton serving as pallbearers. Born Jan. 18, 1959, in Moultrie, he was the son of Dorothy Brown Fowler of Pavo and the late Lawrence Douglas Fowler. He was the owner of Brooks County Tire and he was of the Freewill Baptist faith. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Darlene Casteen Fowler of Pavo; sons, Aaron Cooper and wife Denise of Valdosta and Crittenton Cooper and wife Earlene of Arkansas; step-son, Daniel Marshall of Quitman; step-daughter, Stacy Marshall of Quitman; grandmother, Eva Mae Brown of Pavo; and grandchildren, A.J. Cooper, Dalton Cooper, Hunter Douglas Cooper and Keely Cooper, all of Valdosta. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 16, at the funeral home.
