Dudley G. Red' Graves Jr. MOULTRIE Dudley G. Red' Graves Jr., 81, of Moultrie, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 11, at Pineview Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Potts officiating, assisted by the Rev.Paul Voyles. Graveside rites will be by Rev. Lennon Howell. Burial will follow in Pineview Baptist Church Cemetery with Arthur Daniel Hurst Jr., Michael Wayne Hurst, Michael Jason Parten, Justin Harris Parten, Shane Douglas Graves, and Robert Frank Plant III serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Erdmann, Jeffery Graves and Raines Plant. Born Sept. 24, 1931 in Ochlocknee, GA, he was the son of the late Dudley G. Graves Sr. and Annie Blanche Hicks Graves. He was the owner of Graves Wholesale Company and he was a member of Pineview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Graves; and sisters, Lillian Thornton, Agnes Davis, Hazel Bales and Myrtice Martin. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mitchell Graves of Moultrie; a son, James Douglas Graves and wife Allana of Moultrie; daughters, Diane Graves Parten and husband Michael of Moultrie, Sharron Graves Hurst and husband Arthur of Moultrie and Lisa Graves Plant and husband Robert of Moultrie; a sister, Doris Waters of Moultrie; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
