Earnest Ralph Tucker

Earnest Ralph Tucker, age 94 of Moultrie, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Legacy Village at Park Regency in Moultrie.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM at Murphy Cemetery on Sunday, February 9, 2025, with Reverend Chuck Scarborough officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Tucker was born in Moultrie on December 21, 1930, to the late James Robert Tucker and Maggie Sloan Tucker. He worked as an insurance sales agent for many years, volunteered for the American Red Cross, and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He also served in the United States Army and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janice Green Tucker; siblings, Roy Tucker, Cecil Tucker, Bertle Thompson, Eddie Tucker, Boyd Tucker, Wilford Tucker, Lena Mae Hannon, Rufus Tucker, Juanita Suggs, and Thelma Sheppard.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
