Edna Morse Davis

Edna M. Davis, 89, of Moultrie, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018, at Pruitt Heath Magnolia Manor. Born on October 10, 1928, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of Jake Everett Morse and Bertha Matilda Cribb Morse. She was a homemaker and a member of East Pelham Baptist Church in Pelham, GA. Mrs. Davis Loved the Lord, her family and especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Brown Davis; brothers, Allan Morse, J. T. Morse, William Henry Morse, Dan Morse, and a sister Emma Lasseter. Survivors include her sons Joe B. Davis and wife Karen of Chickamauga, GA, Paul Davis and Frank Lee Davis and wife Angel both of Pelham, GA; daughters, Betty Hickey of Ochlocknee, GA, Bertha Davis of Camilla, GA, Bonnie Henderson of Rhode Island and Linda Collins of Cairo, GA and (Mike Poucher) of Tallahassee, FL; brother David Morse and wife Jean of Doerun, sister-in-law Judy Morse of Chickamauga, GA; sisters, Ella Mae Morse of Doerun and Bessie Kersey of Ozark AL; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 18 from 4-6 at Baker Funeral Home and the service will be held on Monday, March 19 at 1:00 at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Milford Stanley officiating. Interment will be at Rocky Creek Cemetery in Worth County. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
