Edna Gandy

Edna Louise Lindsey Gandy, 94, of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Moultrie, died Monday, September 9, 2019 at Riverwood Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Walker Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Leila Church Cemetery in Omega, Georgia.
Born on September 25, 1924, in Colquitt Co., she was the daughter of the late Leonard Griffin Lindsey and Opal Harrison Lindsey. She retired as a bookkeeper for the city of Jacksonville and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thomas Gandy; and a sister, Sarah Francis Weeks and husband Earnest Weeks.
Mrs. Gandy is survived by her daughter, Joyce Gandy O'hara and husband Thomas of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Leonard Griffin Lindsey Jr. and wife Marjorie of Adel; grandchildren, Duane E. Alday and wife Pam of Jacksonville, Florida, Lorinda K. Winter of Jacksonville, Florida, Shawn O'hara and wife Colleen of Jacksonville, Florida; great grandchild, Edward A. Winter of Jacksonville Florida
Visitation will be held Friday, September 13, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home
