Edna Catherine Barker Moye, 94, of Norman Park, died Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Savannah Court in Camilla.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Norman Park Untied Methodist Church with Rev. Al Lewis officiating assisted by Rev. Keith Goodlet. Interment will follow at Deep Bottom Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Norman Park United Methodist Church. Stephen Lott, Ethan Lott, Phil Watson, Jeremy Watson, Micah Kimler, and Ron Halstead will serve as pallbearers.
Born on October 25, 1925, in Florida, she was the daughter of the late Ed Barker and Tressie Barker. Retired from Colquitt County School System where she was a school librarian. She Volunteered for twenty years in the medical library at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Norman Park United Methodist Church where she served in many capacities until her health declined.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Buddy" Moye; brothers, Carlton Barker, Vernon Barker and George Barker; and sister, Tressie Mae Harrell.
Mrs. Moye is survived by her son, David Moye and wife Shirley of Camilla; daughter, Dawn Lott and husband Ray of Moultrie; grandchildren, Michele Moye, Lana Kimler, Laura Watson, Stephen Lott and Michael Lott; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
