Edward Blaine Goines (PHOTO) (VETERAN) MOULTRIE Edward Blaine Goines, 55, of Moultrie died Monday, April 27, 2015, at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Interment will be in Baker/Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Lamar Tillman, Andy Goines, Clay Daugherty, Keith Burnham, Brandon Burnham and Mike Mathis. Born Aug. 5, 1959, in Anna, Ill., Mr. Goines was the son of Nina Belle Gulley Goines of Dongola, Ill., and the late Stante Wilborn Goines. He was a U.S. Marine veteran. Survivors include his wife, Karen Melissa Burnham Goines of Moultrie; two sons, Curtis Bradley Goines of Tamms, Ill., and Jessie Colt Goines of Herrin, Ill.; a daughter, Cora Belle Goines of Moultrie; a brother, James Bradley Goines and wife Tori of Jonesboro, Ill.; three sisters, Pat Shaffer and husband Larry of Dongola, Ill., Suzie Goines, Jody Duckworth and husband Donnie, all of Dongola, Ill.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 29. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
