Eleanor Burgess Morgan MOULTRIE Eleanor Burgess Morgan, 79, of Moultrie, died Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Pruitt Health of Moultrie. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Alan Tillman will officiate. Mrs. Morgan was born Sept. 29, 1935, in Omega, Ga., to the late Jimmie Stephen Burgess and Lillie Giles Burgess. She was a Christian and a retired seamstress at Sunstate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Huey Donald Morgan; three brothers, James Curtis Burgess, Marvin Jackson Burgess and Roy Everett Burgess; and a sister, Grace Crews. Survivors include a son, Curtis Wayne Morgan and wife Pam of Moultrie; two daughters, Deborah Kay Morgan of Moultrie and Donna Morgan Guthrie of Adel; a brother, Jimmie Stephen Burgess and wife Wanda of Texas; a sister, Lorene Sauls of Moultrie; grandchildren, Traci Garner Hysmith, Jessica Garner Gray, Lisa Morgan Shaddix, Kara Guthrie Daugharty, Jacob Anthony Guthrie,Haley Nicole Parrish and Laura Kathryn Morgan; and 10 great-grandchildren.
