Ellis Keith Flowers, 67, of Moultrie, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Reverend Cagney Tanner officiating.Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Keith was born on May 15, 1957, in Moultrie, the son of the late W.E. Flowers and Clois Paige Flowers. He served in the United States Marine Corps until 1977. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as a civilian employee at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, Georgia, from which he later retired. Keith had a passion for collecting firearms, modifying and repairing vehicles in his workshop, and enjoying time with friends, family, and his dogs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Skipper; and sister, Wanda Latimer.
Mr. Flowers is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Donna Skipper Flowers of Moultrie; son, Joseph Flowers and wife Kaitlyn of Thomasville; daughter, Amy Johnson of Moultrie; grandchildren, Pierce Flowers, Kayden Johnson, Thomas Johnson, and Katelin Martin and husband Caleb; great grandchild, Bennett; and sister, Teresa Elkins and husband Alvin of Moultrie as well as many nieces and nephews.
