Erin Kimbrell (photo) DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. Erin Kimbrell, 92, of Douglasville, Ga., and formerly of Norman Park, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at Pruitt health Magnolia Manor in Moultrie. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at Norman Park United Methodist Church with burial at Deep Bottom Cemetery. The Rev. Mitchell Kimbrell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Thomas Kimbrell, Chad Kimbrell, Eric Kimbrell, Justin Kimbrell, Luke Kimbrell and Jared Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin McNulty and Benjamin Kimbrell. Mrs. Kimbrell was born Sept. 11, 1922, in Fitzgerald, Ga., to the late George Michael Luke and Gladys Brubaker Luke. She was a Methodist and retired from Wal-Mart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Kimbrell; her son, Mike Kimbrell; two brothers, George William Luke and Kenneth Luke; two sisters, Norma Luke and Kathleen Rumpf; a son-in-law, Russell Cobb; and a daughter-in-law, Myra G. Kimbrell. Survivors include sons, Edward Kimbrell and wife Vivian of Norman Park, Jerry Kimbrell of Doerun and Tony Kimbrell and wife Nikki of McDonough, Ga.; daughters, Mary Alice Cobb of Dallas, Ga.; Jan Kimbrell McNutly & husband John of Douglasville, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Linda H. Kimbrell of Norman Park; a brother, Mike Luke and wife Tibby of Amelia Island, Ga.; a sister, Betty Nyberg of McDonough; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
