Evelyn Marie Peacock, 69, of Moultrie, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 26, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memory Gardens with David Willis, Ricky Carter, Bryan Roberson, Brandon Roberson, George Anderson and Donald Willis serving as pallbearers. Born Aug. 5, 1942, in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Ancel Franklin Wilson and Essie Mae Ragan Wilson. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Joe Peacock; sons, Tracey Peacock and Lacey Peacock; and a sister, Ruby Mae Mercer. Survivors include daughters, Brenda Anderson, Norma Jean Peacock, both of Moultrie; brother, James David Wilson of Moultrie; sisters, Kitty Smith of McRae, Ga., Kathie Bruce and husband Jeff of Moultrie, Elizabeth Carter and husband Ricky of McRae, Ga., and Janice Vernell Wilson of Statesboro, Ga.; grandchildren, Penny Peacock, Tequila Mooney and husband Jeffrey, Steven Anderson and wife Amanda, Andy Anderson, Robin Peacock, Lacie Leane Glaab and husband Ricky, Adam Osborne, Mike Tyson, Karen Harnage, Tammy Duckworth, Brenda Brooks and Lacey Dewayne Peacock; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
