Evelyn Erskine Sutton, 93, of Adel, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at Cook Medical Center. Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Voyles officiating. Visitation will be held from 12pm-1pm at the cemetery prior to the service.Born September 9, 1924, in Jasper, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Otis Erskine and Etta Lowery Erskine. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J.C. Sutton; daughter, Teresa Dutton; and 3 brothers.Survivors include her son, Johnny Sutton and wife Rita of Pavo; daughter, Wanda Joyce Noles and husband Robert of Forrest Park, GA; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Carter of Moultrie, and Sue Dees of Tallahassee, Fl. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
