Floyd W. Crosby, Sr.

Floyd W. Crosby, Sr., 92, of Moultrie, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at his home.
Born on July 13, 1930, in Ellenton, he was the son of the late Charlie William Crosby and Margie Smith Crosby. He retired from Colquitt EMC after 43 years on the job, was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #381 for over 35 years, and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd Crosby and Wayne Crosby; sisters, Juanita Milam and Martha Crosby.

Mr. Crosby Is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Wells Coleman Crosby of Moultrie; Sons, Floyd W. Crosby, Jr. and wife Carol of Blairsville, Dale Crosby and wife Renee of Moultrie, Royce Coleman and wife Melissa of Valdosta; daughters, Joyce Knight of Moultrie and Angelynn Thomas and husband Darrell of Brunswick; sisters, Judy Metcalf and Trudy Crum both of Panacea, FL.; grandchildren Christy Lee, Susan George, and Eli Crosby; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Westview City Cemetery with Rev. Josh Purvis and Rev. Matt Peek officiating. Reeves Foye, Ronnie Caldwell, Carl Ray, Floyd Green, and Michael Jackson will serve as pallbeaers.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church Moultrie, 400 S Main St, Moultrie, GA 31768.
