Frances Daniels Carmichael, 91, of Moultrie, died Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019 in the chapel of Baker Funeral home with Rev. Ken Anderson officiating. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Johnny Hardin, Donnie Merritt, Sheriff Rod Howell, Bill Smith, Jamey Whitley, and Keith Duckworth.
Born on March 21, 1928, in Adel, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Saul Daniels and Sally Bennett Daniels. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Abraham Carmichael, Sr.; sons, John Abraham Carmichael, Jr., Steve Eugene Carmichael; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mrs. Carmichael is survived by her daughter, Jan Carmichael Rodgers and husband Joe, Jr. of Tifton; grandson, Joe Rodgers III and wife Tasha of Moultrie; granddaughters, Shana Carmichael Rodgers of Macon and Katrina Carmichael Miley of Moultrie; great grandchildren, Julee Ann Sinclair, Kaylyn Sinclair, Conner Adderton, Isaac Adderton and Mia Rodgers.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
