MOULTRIE-- Frank Gordon Watson, 68, of Moultrie, passed away on Monday February 6, 2017 at his residence. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Billingsley officiating and assisted by his son Chad G. Watson. Visitation will be from 10am-11am on Saturday February 11, 2017.Born September 1, 1948 in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Bartow G. Watson and Pauline Tompkins Watson. He was a construction foreman for Southwest Plaster & Drywall and the maintenance director at a nursing home and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Alice Tompkins Watson; the mother of his children, June Audrey Weeks Watson; brothers, David L. Watson, James Roscoe Watson, Hubert B. Watson, Grady U. Watson, and Earnest Paul Watson; and sister, Betty Ivylyn Tanner.Survivors include his son, Chad G. Watson, and wife Becky of Augusta; daughters, Patti L. Dorminey and Frank Johnson of Moultrie, Jeannine Torbert and husband Jay of St. Simons Island; Stepdaughter, Kelly Griffin and husband Kim of Berlin; grandchildren, Devon L. Day, Paige Watson, Matthew Torbert, Payton Watson, Jacob Torbert, Sara Grace Torbert, and Parker Watson; brother, Curtis Watson and wife Shirley and sisters, Emma Jane Miley, Louise Hamm and husband Gene, and Oceline Brooks; and many nieces and nephews.In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to Berlin Baptist Church 312 Langford St, Berlin, GA 31722 in his memory.Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
