Gary Leroy Bivins

Gary Leroy Bivins, 69, of Moultrie, passed away on Tuesday December 13, 2016 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 15, from 6pm-8pm in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. Rev. Robert McCoy will officiate a private graveside service. Born September 26, 1947 in Colquitt Co., he was the son of the late Dover Degrant Bivins and Rosa Lee Barber Bivins. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Bivins, Randall Bivins, and Dick Bivins; and sisters, Opal Bowles, and Carolyn Ross. Survivors include his son, Gary Dewayne Bivins of Moultrie; daughters, Leanne Ricks and husband Stevie of Moultrie and Stephanie Bivins Brooks and husband Lee of Norman Park; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sister, Phyliss Wood and husband Bob of Lancaster, OH; sister in law, Iris Bivins of Moultrie; and a brother in law, Charles Bowles of Moultrie. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
