NORMAN PARK George Brown, 83, of Norman Park, died Sunday March 2, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, at Pineview Baptist Church with interment at Pineview Church Cemetery. The Rev. Harris Whitman will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jerry Brown, Issac Paulk, Scott Young, John Hancock, Sonny Brown and Stevie Sheffield. Mr. Brown was born Jan. 3, 1931, in Perry, Ga., to William Thomas Brown and Emma Lee Register Brown. He was a maintenance worker with the State of Georgia and a member of Pineview Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Martha Holmes Brown; sons, Buddy Brown and Beth of Norman Park, Hoppy Brown and Connie of Daytona Beach, Fla., Ivey Brown and Gwen of Moultrie, and Carl Brown and Lana of Norman Park; daughters, Wanda Croft and Bill of Berlin, Brenda Yarbrough and Tim of Norman Park, Shirley Campbell and Ritchie of Moultrie, Mary Blair and Stephen Drusko of Moultrie; sisters, Marie Whittington, Jewylyn Powell of Sylvester, and May Caulder of Lee County; grandchildren, Dewey Young, Polly Judd, Aaron Young, Tim and Monica Yarbrough, Deidra Yarbrough, Corey Jeffries, George Brown, Misty and T. J. Dusterdeick, Adam Bentley, Robbie and Jennifer Seigler, Kara Willoughby, Marc Willoughby, Damien Brown, Jennifer Brown, Gabrielle Cannon, Trinity Williams, Samantha and Robert Warren, Dustin Brown, Stephen Blair, Stephanie Blair, Adriana Drusko, Schuyler "Rabbit" Drusko, Amber Brown, Carl "Lil Man" Brown, Jr., Robin Young, Hannah Ingram, Brandon Lafler and Dalton Ingram; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Lee Brown and William Brown; sisters, Margie Lee Sirmons and Ola Ethridge; and a grandchild, Rebecca Brown.
